Guide/Version-Specific Mod Recommendations

No guides are using this mod

Type a version string using the format indicated by the placeholder text below. Copy/paste the intended guide version from the "Existing Guides" table above (if it exists) into the field below. For unofficial user-created guides, use the format indicated by the placeholder text. Editors: Please DO NOT use wiki headings inside of custom Recommendations and also avoid using templates if at all possible! Template calls add to the max threshold, and headings mess up the guide ToC.

Recommendations

  1. Download the main file and extract the spINI-setup.exe installer.
  2. Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Read any warnings carefully!
  4. Once the installer has completed, the Skyrim Launcher will automatically run to generate your new INI files.
  5. If using Mod Organizer, copy the generated Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files to your <ModOrganizer>\profiles\<Profile-Name> directory.
  6. Download the spINI Tweaks optional file with Mod Organizer.
  7. Install like any other mod.
  8. Double-click the Skyrim Project INI (spINI) mod in the left pane.
  9. In the Mod Information window at bottom left is the INI Tweaks subpanel. Checkmark any desired tweaks. Please note that you should not use any conflicting tweaks (i.e., don't checkmark Shadows - Disabled and Shadows - Optimized High)!
