STEP Patches Requirements

Requirements For STEP Patches

Each patch has different requirements and it should be decided now which patch to choose before going through all of STEP. This will also inform users of any additional patching that are necessary to download, since those instructions may not be in the STEP Guide.

STEP Core Patch

• NOTE: For all of the following requirements disregard any mod that does not have a plugin (.esp or .esm file). These are mostly texture replacer mods.

For users that plan to install all of STEP Core only, just follow the STEP Guide instructions and do not download any additional patches for conflicting STEP Core mods. The STEP Core Patch will cover all conflicts.

If installing part of STEP Core then the following mods are required to use the STEP Core Patch:

• All Official Skyrim DLC: Dawnguard, Hearthfire, and Dragonborn
• Unofficial Skyrim Patch
• Clothing and Clutter Fixes
• Weapons and Armor Fixes
• Static Mesh Improvement Mod
• Realistic Water Two
• aMidianBorn Book of Silence - Content Addon is required.
• Dawnguard Crossbow Bolts Visualized
• Elemental Staffs
• Audio Overhaul for Skyrim
• Smooth Blade Draw and Sheathe

Download the following if not installing the STEP Core Patch:

• From Weapon and Armor Fixes Remade
  1. Weapons & Armor_TrueOrcish&DaedricWeapons.esp
• From Audio Overhaul for Skyrim:
  1. AOS2_RealisticWaterTwo Patch.esp
  2. AOS2_WAF Patch.esp

STEP Extended Patch

• NOTE: For all of the following requirements disregard any mod that does not have a plugin (.esp or .esm file). These are mostly texture replacer mods.

For users that plan to install all of STEP Core and STEP Extended only, just follow the STEP Guide instructions and do not download any additional patches for conflicting STEP Core and Extended mods. The STEP Extended Patch will cover all conflicts.

If installing part of STEP Core and STEP Extended then the following mods are required to use the STEP Extended Patch:
