Type a version string using the format indicated by the placeholder text below. Copy/paste the intended guide version from the "Existing Guides" table above (if it exists) into the field below. For unofficial user-created guides, use the format indicated by the placeholder text. Editors: Please DO NOT use wiki headings inside of custom Recommendations and also avoid using templates if at all possible! Template calls add to the max threshold, and headings mess up the guide ToC.

Recommendations

Download and install the utility to a location outside of UAC influence. Many users choose to create a custom folder within the Skyrim directory called "Tools" to install all utilities to. Template:Notice Small

1. Close Mod Organizer and run BethINI
2. Go to the Setup tab
   1. BethINI can be used for multiple games and select the profile they wish to use via the INI Path setting. Your profiles should be autodetected. It is highly recommended to close Mod Organizer if open.
3. Click Default. This will refresh your INI files to the default state.
4. If using an ENB Preset, users should tick the ENB Mode checkbox. This does not apply to users who ONLY use the ENBoost portion of ENBSeries. Users installing the STEP Guide should not tick this checkbox. This should be autodetected, so if you are unsure, leave this alone!
5. Click your desired preset.
6. Tick the Recommended Tweaks checkbox to apply tweaks recommended for all users.
7. Click the Save and Exit button.
