The aim of Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance is to rebalance Skyrim's difficulty without making enemies into health-sinks. This is achieved by adjusting sizes of mobs, increasing spawn points, the types of spawns, giving more potions, magicks and perks to the NPCs, improving their AI and allowing NPCs to use enchantments, all the while not nerfing the hero.

Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance

Big parts of this pack was done by Garfink. Big thanks to him. The aim of Skyrim Gameplay Rebalance is to rebalance Skyrim's difficulty without making enemies into health-sinks. This is achieved by adjusting sizes of mobs, increasing spawn points, the types of spawns, giving more potions, magicks and perks to the NPCs, improving their AI and allowing NPCs to use enchantments, all the while not nerfing the hero. This pack was balanced by Garfink. Garfinks rebalancing was in my opinion focused on a hardcore player and with all mods recommended by him the game was impossible for me to play. I am more of a casual player though and many people will enjoy the full experience of this pack. I have split the pack into two parts where the second part is only installed by hardcore players.

Skyrim Immersive Creatures

Description: Adds dozens of new creatures
Author: lifestorock
Special Instructions: From the main installer choose:

  • Main
  • DLC2
  • Revenge of the enemies patch (if you use Revenge of the enemies)

Recommended MCM settings:

General: Purist
Difficult Adjustments: Assigned Global Difficult set to Expert
Creature Spawn Difficulty; Additional Spawns set to HARD.
All other tick boxes on page unticked.

By choosing purist, most of the creatures that aren't lore-friendly will be disabled. There are some creatures that still may bother you. Feel free to disable them and please share your thoughts on the forum if you think I will recommend to disable them. Some creatures you may think about to disable in the MCM:

  • Dwemer specters - Metallic ghosts that drop metallic parts and make metallic noises


Install compatibility patch from Enhanced blood textures only if you still use Enhanced blood textures

Description: NPCs in bleed out can be knocked out. You can make stealth knockouts.

Special Instructions: If you want to do some testing, check if this mod works with Yield 2dot0. They "should" work together but some testing has suggested that they do not.

Dodge Mod

Description: This mod allows the player to make short, quick movements to dodge the attacks of opponents.

High Level Enemies - SIC Edition

Special Instructions: Needs to be loaded after TTRSO, which it is if you are using LOOT. Overwrites one alchemy perk of TTRSO and reverts it to vanilla.

Dragon Combat Overhaul

Description: Overhauls dragon combat.

Special instructions: This mod has a conflict with No spinning death animation. This is solved by not installing the merged version of no spinning death animation. An alternative, if you want, is to load dragon combat overhaul after no spinning death animation. If you use audio overhaul Skyrim, install the Dragon combat overhaul patch from the main Audio overhaul Skyrim installer
