The Method

These instructions are for users desiring to follow The Method with this guide.

1. Sort with LOOT.
2. Launch xEdit VQSC.
3. Expand HighFidelityVoicesCore.esp \ Quest \ 000229EA <MQ203> \ 000D7657, right-click the record and select [Copy As Override Into...].
4. Scroll down and tick <new file>.esp [Template] Light.
5. Click [OK].
6. Name the patch HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.
7. Drag the DATA - Data\ Subtype field in unofficial fallout 4 patch.esp into the new HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp.
8. Expand HighFidelityVoicesCore.esp \ Quest \ 000229EA <MQ203> \ 000D7657, right-click the record and select [Copy As Override Into...].
9. Scroll down and tick HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp.
10. Click [OK].
11. Click [Yes] at the prompt to add HighFidelityVoicesCore.esp as a master.
12. Drag the Responses field in unofficial fallout 4 patch.esp into the new HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp.
13. Right-click HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp and select [Add Masters].
14. Tick unofficial fallout 4 patch.esp and click [OK].
    • Adding these masters ensures proper load order of the patch is maintained.
15. Right-click HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp and select [Sort Masters (to match current load order)].
16. Close xEdit, ensuring you save your new IAF - CMF Patch.esp.
    • Since we solved all conflicts perfectly, no ModGroup is needed. This can be verified by right-clicking → [Apply Filter to show Conflicts].
17. Enable the HighFidelityVoices - UFO4P Patch.esp in Mod Organizer's Plugins tab.
