Well the FPS overlay works fine with or without the hook.. so that can't be it.

The RadeonPro forums cannot be joined until the Admin gets back... if he ever dose, so I thought I just ask here. Does anyone know what the Advanced D3D9 Hooking in RadeonPro does? and If it is necessary? I ask, as I worked out that disabling Advanced D3D9 Hooking in RP settings allows me to use an ENB and therefore ENBoost. I'm currently forced to use RP (which will disable ENBoost) in order to cap Skyrims FPS, else I suffer from the flying creatures and flashing land water glitches, the ENBoost caping and Vsync don't seem to fix the problem (believe me I spend 2 days trying to fix it without resorting to RP). So yeah, I just want to know if anyone has any incite into the benefits of having Advanced D3D9 Hooking in RadeonPro. Thanks.

After installing the STEP Extended Patch, and running loot I'v been getting this pop up in WB, "No Bash Tag map has been previously generated"... I assume that means Tags in Loot are having an issue, I also got a LOOT error saying Delev was not recognised when I was adding it as a meta change to the STEP Extended.esp, not sure if there is a way to fix it or it's not going to matter... Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\basher.pyo", line 5524, in RefreshData File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 4335, in refresh File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 4586, in reloadBashTags File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 3664, in reloadBashTags File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 5615, in getBashTags File "bash\loot.pyo", line 373, in GetModBashTags File "bash\loot.pyo", line 240, in LootErrorCheck bash.loot.LootError: LootError: loot_error_no_tag_map:No Bash Tag map has been previously generated.Edit; seems to be related to LOOT, removing the Delev tag in loot stopped the error popping up, I'v added the tags via WB without issue...

Yeah, I'v been getting something similar as well after installing STEP Extended Patch, pops up every time I go to build a Bash Patch, I'm currently just ignoring it... and hoping nothing will go wrong. Traceback (most recent call last): File "bash\basher.pyo", line 5524, in RefreshData File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 4335, in refresh File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 4586, in reloadBashTags File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 3664, in reloadBashTags File "bash\bosh.pyo", line 5615, in getBashTags File "bash\loot.pyo", line 373, in GetModBashTags File "bash\loot.pyo", line 240, in LootErrorCheck bash.loot.LootError: LootError: loot_error_no_tag_map:No Bash Tag map has been previously generated.

ACCEPTED The Choice is Yours (by kryptopyr)

Yeah, wondering if the Dragonborn main should also be used, seems like it should be, but STEP has not been updated to make it so... -

OKay, I finally have ENBoost working... but now I have another issue... I normally cap my Skyrim FPS to 50, it cleans up 99% of all micro stuttering (I still get a little with Vsync at 60) on my Crossfire set up. I normally use Dxtory (that I always have running on all games) to cap to whatever I like, however ENBoost will crash skyrim with Dxtory running. So I turn to Radeon Pro... not compatable with ENB stuff... And lastly I looked at the FPS Limiter mod... but it uses a d3d9.dll file... and I will brake ENBoost if I change the d3d9.dll file... CCC does not seem to have a limiter of any type... Does anyone have a good compatable FPS capping program for skyrim?

Using RadeonPro with Mod Organiser & SPM under STEP:Core
Carnage2k4 replied to theblackman's question in Mod Organizer Support
Sorry, late reply, But Im havingthis issue also, in answer to your question (encase anyone else discovers this thread) No, ENBoost requesrs an ENB set to even work, hence RP will not work with ENBoost as it requires an ENB to work itsef... -
Well, my Memory log looks fine in reference to your linked post, 512MB & 256MB (BLK 1 & 2) and 215 on block 1 was the highest it's gone so far in testing. I have tried all manner of settings and such with ENB's ove the years, the CTD happens when I load into the world. One of my issues is weather I count 6G (3x2) for Vram, or just 3G alone... After setting up as per STEP the only red text I get is "PATCH SPEEDHACK ENBoost turned on in enblocal.ini, graphic modification disabled." I'v tried many settings in enblocal.ini.. but nothing changes. So, nothing in the posts you have linked seems to be of any help... It always seems that if the file "d3d9.dll" is at any time located in my skyrim folder the game will CTD when the world space loads up... Hmmm, ok, I was able to get it to freeze instead of CTD, and the error "bfloatpointrendertarget=1 is not set in skyrimprefs.ini" was just readable, I changed that and dropped VideoMemorySizeMb=10000 from 11967 (6G Vram + 8G RAM - 2024) and for the 1st time ever the game laoded with an ENB running...

Can some one please get me up to speed on ENBoost and SKSE, I'm using the latest version of SKSE (1.7.1) and I have been lead to beleive it includes the fixes that ENBoost is also suppost to do, is this true? I'm using a 2x 3G 7970 crossfire rig, and using ENB mods will crash Skyrim no matter what I do (injected and wrapped)(it's always crashed, I'v tried many many times and have never had an ENB work past the first loading screen), I'm not giving up a card just for an ENB mod, but I would like to be able to make use of the mem fixes. I'm not seeing anyhitng about all this in the STEP guide, so I'm a little confused on the entire issue, If I'm using SKSE 1.7.1 can I just ignore ENBoost altogether? Do I still require an ENB to make use of the SKSE version of the fix (if there is one included)?

Awesome perfect, previously BOSS and others had been added automatically without this, but now that I know I'll add what I need. Thanks for this info.

No offence, but that is not what I asked... I prefer to use WB over Mod Organizer... I post here as I cannot seem to find any other info on the issue.

Sorry don't know where else to post this. I just noticed on this page of the guide under 1.D.1 Skyrim INI [Display] ;Improves shadow changes as the sun moves through the sky fSunShadowUpdateTime=0.25 ;Transition time of sun-shadow movement fSunUpdateThreshold=1.5 ;Time between sun-shadow movement iPresentInterval = 1 ;This line needs to be manually added, as it is misplaced into SkyrimPrefs.ini by Skyrim! - REQUIRED by ENBoost And on the AMD CCC section of the guide under Profile Frame Rate Control Wait for Vertical Refresh: Off, unless application specifies (NOTE: ENBoost will control vsync, but be certain to DELETE iPresetInterval=*from SkyrimPrefs.ini and ADD iPresetInterval=1 to Skyrim.ini under [Display]) I'm under the impression that in reference to iPresentInterval this is the same statment however the top reads "iPresentInterval" and the lower reads "iPresetInterval" As the default SkyrimPrefs.ini "iPresentInterval" is the one listed, I will presume this is correct and the AMD CCC version has been misspelled in both casses.

So I'm reinstalling skyrim to mod again, it's been over 2 years since I played, Many things have changed though I see, BOSS was the thing to have last time I modded Skyrim, but I see it's been superseeded by LOOT now, and I hear good things. However I cannot seem to be able to get Wrye Bash to show LOOT in it's application menu on the bottom left, the STEP guide seemed to indicate that it would show up there, but I'm yet to see it. Anyone Know a fix for this? and if so, maybe it should be added to the page for installing Wrye Bash where LOOT is given as the next thing to DL. Thank you for any help. Carnage2K4 Elemental Staffs
