  1. I have just released this. Hope that someone will find it useful :) Enjoy! Immersive Food and Gear Improvements This mod changes how food, drink and gear improvements work. Food and drink will last longer, but regenerate less HP ( both somewhat randomised) to simulate satiation, hydration and varied quality of food and drink. The duration of gear improvements will last a full in game day before they wear off, which makes them more realistic and useful.

  2. I used the latest one. Bear in mind that you need Community Patch - Base and Community Patch - Shared Imports for it to work. The former replaced Unification Patch (I just installed one on top of the other). Also, there is a Shared Imports specific version of Smart Magic Lamp, so make sure to use that one instead of the one that Neo's guide suggests. @Skulldozer - thanks for the info! I came across the same issue. Some quick testing and I settled for 3072 value. The game seemed to accept that just fine.
  3. For those who didn't notice and have SSE locked offline on Steam - Bethesda released a new runtime, which obviously broke all the SKSE mods. There is a new SKSE version out, but quite a few mods stopped working. So if you were planning to going online for whatever reason, bear that in mind.
  4. Awesome, thanks a lot guys! As long as MO2 works - I'm home :) Thanks for the guide links as well. I will probably start off small and then build up the mods as I go along. I don't have a problem with creating patches myself really - as long as there is FO4EDIT available :)
  5. Hello! I'm planning to start a FO4 playthrough soon - it will be my first modded one (worth adding that I never finished the unmodded one either). As I've been out of a loop for a loooong while now, can some helpful soul let me know if there are any differences to modding FO4 compared to older Beth games (SSE, FNV etc.) please? Also, any good FO4 modding guides out there? I'm an experienced modder of other Beth games, with a good uderstanding of load order, custom patches creation etc. etc. etc., I'd just like to know if there is anything I should watch out for when modding FO4. So, in essence: 1) Any differences to modding FO4 compared to SSE/FNV? 2) Any good modding guides? 3) Which mod manager would you recommend for FO4? Thanks!
  6. I know what I'm gonna be testing this week! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/18449?
  7. Here it is buddy: https://s000.tinyupload.com/index.php?file_id=48246967584936525812
  8. Hi mate, sorry for a late reply. That patch is from a link in a description of some Skyrim VR recommended mods video on YouTube. For the love of me I can't remember which one though :(
  9. Right, after seeing the presentation and reading some articles I don't think I will be getting this game. It's a shame they went this route. It's not about the fact that "OMG multiplayer" and "it's a betrayal" tantrums I've seen all over the internet though. I simply don't enjoy survival/crafting games and that's what F76 is all about it would have seem. Plus the fact that there are no NPC's, just players is another feature I don't find appealing at all. While I don't mind multiplayer games in general, Fallout is not a game I would like to play with other people. It was always a single player experience to me and I would like for it to remain that way. I'm a little disappointed, but I think the feeling is more of a "meh, whatever, not bothered". I didn't quite enjoy Fallout 4 when it came out (digression: too much pew pew, not enough role playing... I am planning to give it another go soon though, now that there are a lot of mods for it) so Beth further drifting away from what Fallout series was always about to me personally is not really that surprising. It makes me sad and disappointed for sure, but it makes me mostly stop caring about the series. Real shame. I don't really blame Beth that much though, as those kind of games are quite popular now and it seems like a reasonable decision from business point of view. I will wait until the game is out and actually see what it's all about to make a final decision of whether to get it or not, but as it currently stands, they will not be getting my money for Fallout 76. We'll see what will they make with TES6.
  10. Personally I am just waiting for E3 to see what it's going to be :) Shame it's not a new full fledged TES.
  11. I am using those: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16809 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16768 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16692 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16678 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/16528 The rest from VR category didn't seem appealing or must-have.
  12. I showcased VR to a lot of friends and it really differs from person to person and from game to game. Also, you develop immunity after a while. I can now spend hours in VR without any problems, unless the game is badly optimised. My wife however, who is HSP (Highly Sensitive Person) can only do about 30-40 mins at most and she needs a break.
  13. No, it's not actually. Need update it. 14. OMG! This is absolutely mindblowing! I went to Bleak Falls Barrow yesterday and got scared to death in the darkness (no torch!) by the Skeevers on those round stairs that take you to the lower level, shortly before the big spider fight :D They are MASSIVE in VR and very scary. I had to save just before the spider fight, as it was 5 AM, but OMG I am very scared to get back in, as I can only imagine what that fight will be like :D Stellar job Bethesda, really really good!
  15. Right, the initial mod build for VR is done. I used mainly Tech's Guide (Thanks dude! Stellar work with the guide!) with a couple of extra mods of my choice. There is only 1 VR specific mod (see below), but I will be testing more when I am some time into the playthrough, just to get a feel for the VR gameplay. The testing was promising, I didn't notice any issues. Going to start an actual playthrough now and see what happens :D
  16. If you get a chance - check it out. I have currently about 160 audio-visual mods installed and the experience is just jawdropping. Been standing around in Riverwood for 20 minutes yesterday just looking around, observing the life in the village. I can't applaud it enough! Gameplay mods next... Then some VR specific mods and a full playthrough :)
  17. Hello! Long time no see, Steppers :) Just wanted to say I have tried Skyrim VR tonight and it's absolutely mindblowing. I think it's more mindblowing that Elite Dangerous - the game I have abandoned Skyrim for. I will be modding SVR, so you'll probably going to see more of me on these forums again :) Any other SVR users?
  18. It's back up now, thanks @TechAngel and @Z :)
  19. I'm getting the below when trying to access it: Error 503 Backend fetch failedBackend fetch failed Guru Meditation:XID: 2162694 Varnish cache server
  20. Check my preset for Elite Dangerous, Neo. I dare to say it works quite well with W3 >> https://www.flickr.com/photos/141027616@N05/albums/72157672507692695
  21. Thanks mate, you can get it here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/238055-RootsExplo-Elite-ReShade-preset I created it for Elite Dangerous initially, but actually it works pretty well in The Witcher :) Use Scroll Lock to turn on/off and Pause/Break to turn Chromatic Aberration on/off (it makes the screen slightly more blurry, but gives the game a nice cinematic feel).
  22. I have preordered this while being drunk some time ago :D After about 30 hours in I can say it's a good, casual, "I have a spare hour now" type of game. Combination of minecraft and space exploration. Nothing serious, just arcade type of game. The main gameplay is about exploring various planets and POI's on them, mining for resources and then managing those resources to upgrade your equipment. Apart from that you can also trade and fight. The former is a good way to get missing resources for your upgrades, and mining rare resources and then selling them is a good way to earn money. There is also alien languages learnig and that helps you communicate with other races. There is some storyline that involves getting to the centre of the galaxy and another one that involves finding a mysterious Atlas (whatever that might be). Or you can go wild and just freely explore the universe. Flight model is VERY basic and it's a lettdown for me, I hoped for something more sim-like. You can't even crash the ship against a planet :P I thought I won't like the the graphical style, but it's actually very fitting with the gameplay style. I like it! I disagree with the "samey planets" criticism - to me the planets are quite different to each other. The flora is a bit samey indeed, but the actual planets are not. I came across jungles, deserts, forests, caves, oceans, archipelagos, mountains, all sorts of varied terrain and features. Fauna can get a bit werid sometimes, but mostly it's OK. Audio is OK, music is good and enhances the immersion. I didn't really have any expectation for the game so maybe that's why I actually like it and I'm not disappointed. The only criticism I'd have is that the price is way too high for what you get. Final verdict, based on what I've seen so far: I would definitely recommend the game to players that like crafting and exploration in a sandbox environment, but I woulnd't recommend playing the hell out of it, as it can get samey. I'd rather play in short bursts and don't take the game too seriously. ::EDIT:: Oh, I forgot to add - the game also supports modding and works offline - the only online bit you need it when uploading your discoveries to the main database for others to see. And for the end - some nice photos from me :) And here's a creature that reminds me a lot about my dog that was put to sleep last year due to a liver cancer. In a tribute to my dog I called this creature Guernica :)
  23. Don't think we have any generic screenshots thread, so I'll put them here. Finally started my new playthrough using my guide + my own ReShade (still WIP, will share when ready) and it looks something like that: https://www.flickr.com/photos/141027616@N05/albums/72157672507692695 More screenies to come. In other news, I'll probably continue to update the guide, but not very often.
