After Installing, ?successfully? in game message:

Question

Posted (edited)

DyndoLOd:  Data for area not found.  or some such.  The MCM recognized the install, and shows up in game with the other mods.  Once in the menu, clicking on 'where am i" says no info.  I'm  12 hours into an DDSopt.  so cant start the game right now to check.

Added above: DyndoLOD, From the "Dynamic LOD" Section of STEP
I'm really new to this modding stuff. Having some comprehension issues with the wording of the STEP process and having to fill in some blanks.

I'm in Skyrim, load up a new "clean save".  Message on top right indicates new MCM menues.  Open Mod Configurations.  Click on DYndoLOD.  "where am I?"  -- "NO data for area"

Is this normal because we are not finished the process at this stage? or have I messed something up?  Don't want to go on ahead with further installation before I am sure that I am good to this stage.

This is normal if you are in an interior area. If you are in an exterior area, "DynDOLOD is active" should be checked with a message at the bottom like "DynDOLOD active world Tamriel."

Ok thanks. When I moused over the text (while in exterior environment), the notification at the very bottom says "no info available" hopefully that's normal. I'll try and add a screenshot.

I had noticed that I was following an old link to previous version of STEP. I'm nearly starting over again!
