I am returning to Skyrim after 6 months-1 year (or more?), and since there is a new version of STEP available, I was hoping to update it.
I am not sure what version of STEP I followed the last time I installed it, but I did use Mod Organizer and I followed the instructions exactly. I was running a fairly high res version of Step Extended with RealVision ENB over it, and I did have profiles set up in mod organizer so I could have Step Core, Step Extended, and Step Extended + RealVision ENB. It was very stable.
Since it has been awhile, I will obviously need to remember how mod organizer and whatnot works, but I was hoping for a tip on how to get started updating my STEP installation.
Do I need to do anything to Skyrim files outside of Mod Organizer?
Would it be simplest to wipe out everything in Mod Organzier (and other places if necessary) and start fresh?
I am pretty sure I was running STEP 2.2.9. It might have been one version earlier than that though, I am not sure, and I don't know how to tell.
Also, the thought of starting a new game makes me want to cry a little bit. :( Oh well.
