Importing/Installing Mods via an archive (not Nexus)

Question

Posted

Hello.

I am having issues when I attempt to install a mod from an archive (not via the Nexus website). The mod imports corrects and if there is an issue with the folder hierarchy I resolve it until I get the looks good message at the bottom. However, after the mod has been activated and I open up windows explorer none of the data files from the mod archive are showing in the data folder (including esp/esm/bsa files).

How do I fix this so that I can import/install from sites other than Nexus or mods that have been created for a manual download?

Thanks in advance.

They will not be in the games data folder. The mod is stored by default in the Mod Organizer mods folder under the mods name, unless you have changed that location. MO will present the activated mods to the game when the game is run from MO.
