Check or Uncheck HiResTexturePack01 & 02.esp

Simple question, in following the STEP guide, do I check or uncheck HiResTexturePack01 & 02.esp under my plugins in NMM.  I've always been under the thought that I leave them unchecked when installing other texture packs, but I read the STEP guide as otherwise.  Thanks for the advice.

Leave them checked.

Unless you're using the optimized HD dlc, right? Or should they still be checked then too?

The only time you uncheck them is if you have less than 1GB VRAM, Optimized DLC requires them in 3 out of the 4 installation versions.

Or if you unpack, optimise and repack them as loose files manually.
