Hand Glitch from Start of Game

I followed the STEP guide as best I could. The game looks and performs great except for one issue. My characters right hand looks weird no matter what weapon/spell/unarmed is equipped. I couldn't get my image small enough to upload, here's a link to where it's hosted. I use NMM for my mod management. Any help at all would be awesome, this is the only thing keeping me from my ideal Skyrim experience. I've added a few mods on top of the STEP setup.

What's wrong with it exactly?

 

You know that NMM is not supported for a STEP install, correct?

I know that NMM isn't supported, but it seemed to work fine. Basically my character's right hand is in the "dagger" position all the time. He has his pointer and index fingers touching his thumb, with his ring finger and pinky extended, like he is holding a dagger. This is regardless of what weapon he has equipped, it even takes this form when he is unarmed or using magic. I've tried rebashing my patches and updating FNIS behaviors.

I had a brief moment of inspiration just now and disabled Better Turning Animations. Fixed the problem instantly. Not sure what's up with it, probably doesn't like one of my other mods perhaps? Anyhow, I got it worked out now, thanks for your help!
