Question

I checked the STEP wiki for this and it seemed to confirm that the tag missing esps on saves is just a header unless it also lists some esps that may actually be missing. Is this true? Right clicking the save and hitting "fix mods" shows nothing in the window that generates, which seems to confirm that it's just a header.

Still, though, I can see the appearance of that text scaring a lot of people into thinking their saves are corrupt. :P

Just thought I'd confirm this with you guys.

The fix mods will only work if the mod is still installed. MO will enable the mod in the current profile if it is disabled and enable any disabled ESPs if they get disabled.

Yeah you're right, that header has at times scared one or two users. I can recall at least one user swearing blind he hadn't done anything wrong and MO kept on telling him he had, turned out it was this small header text in the Saves tab.

Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

It might be possible to have the text only show if the missing esps actually exist, but it will be way down on the list of features requested I'd imagine.

Thanks. It's good to have this confirmed. I have a few friends who also use STEP nowadays (I converted them) and things like this are easier for them if I can answer 'em. Not everybody will ask trivial questions like this on the forum.
