Answered in different post (I'm partway through my first Step: Core install and am wondering how the loose files associated with each mod are supposed to be ordered. Should I order them in the order I installed them? So basically in the order they are listed in the guide?)

Answered (1. I am seeing a few mods from the Step extended install that I'm interested, but I'm not interested in every extended mod. Is it ok if I only install some of these?)
2. Were the textures that were overwriting Skyrim 2k textures when it was being used by STEP chosen to be "better" and that's why Skyrim 2k textures was removed? Does someone actually look at all the differences?! That would be impressive.
