Screen Resolution. Game in small box top lh corner.

After a new OS install, I decided to try MO. While I managed to install everything, when I run Skyrim from MO it always appears as a small box in top left hand corner.

 

When I run Skyrim from steam or the skse_loader.exe it appears at the correct size.

 

I have found two SkyrimPrefs.ini, one in Documents/My Games/skyrim and one in my steamaps/common/skyrim/skyrim folder. They are both set to

 

[Display]

…

bFull Screen=1

iSize H=1200

iSize W=1920

…

 

Although I have been trying other variations.

 

I also tried OneTweak and fakefullscreen neither seemed to help. There was one post somwhere from someone who seemed to have the same problem but he did not say how he fixed it.

 

I also tried unticking all mods, with no change.

 

Maybe I should do something to the Modify Executables page?

Ok guys you can all finally relax.

 

I managed to sort it out by starting the game uisng the Skyrim launchrer withing SMO. Then changed the resolution there, whicih was set differenctlyh tto the vanila skyrim launcher. After I change the resolution there, it now worked for SKSE and Skyrim launches from SMO.

For future reference, each profile in MO has its own set of configuration files. When doing anything that requires editing the configuration files look in Mod organizer \  profiles \ profile_Name folder.
