I just started the STEP Core. I'm going through 2.D, and I made a slight error. When I was meant to backup my original dragonborn.esm before cleaning it, I accidentally backed up dawnguard.esm instead. I did not notice that until after I had gone through the cleaning.
Is there a simple way for me to restore my original dragonborn.esm without undoing the work I've already done? I realize I'm still just beginning, but I still would rather not start from scratch.
I've done everything to the letter from the guide, using MO for everything, including editing the ini files. If I simply run Skyrim through Steam, will that fix my vanilla files without changing anything I've done so far? I'm not certain how necessary this is, as I plan to run the game through MO from here on out, assuming the mods work ok for me, but I imagine it's not a bad idea to fix this.
Sorry if this is answered somewhere else, but searching for dragonborn esm did not get me the answer for which I am looking.
