EssArrBee Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Orsinium - Land of the Orcs (by GrandDukeAdense) New land mod. Always good to have more of those. I think it is still a beta, but this is a huge release for this project. It looks like it's about 2GB download, so should have lots of stuff to do.
redirishlord Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 (edited) Your link leads back here, try this -https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54326 Great find btw, I'm downloading it now to poke around its content. Sounds like the author may not be inclined to continue beyond what's already done: "Not sure how much I will work on this. Don't play Skyrim anymore. But at least I uploaded what I have for you guys to try out I'll see what I do judging by the response I get from users here" Interested parties might want to post encouragement on his mod's Nexus page. EDIT: TES5Edit finds 129 ITMs, after cleaning TES5Edit still reports a variety of errors, unfortunately I'm not TES5Edit-savy enough to make sense of what's being reported. Ganda Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 While I find the idea amazing, the "People willing to write dialogue and invent characters" doesn't really inspire confidence :/ Plus, that off center image is driving me crazy xD
EssArrBee Posted September 12, 2014 Author Posted September 12, 2014 If someone already went to the trouble of crating an entire world, there will be some people that are better at making quests and doing dialogue too. I corrected the link too, not sure what I did there. :/
AddictedxGamer Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 Tracked it because I'd like to see what it turns into. New Lands are always a good idea. :D 1
TehKaoZ Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 (edited) I always both admire and feel bad for mod authors who try to take on such ambitious tasks of creating mods as big as new lands/ questing/ ect. I think many of them don't realize that even with a team it can take years to get them off the ground. Many simply run out of steam, still it's nice that he released what he did and perhaps something more will develop in the future Edited September 12, 2014 by TehKaoZ 1
