So i did it, yesterday after 7-9 hours of getting trough this awesome guide, i managed to installed all the mods with Mod Organizer, S.T.E.P. Extended patch and S.T.E.P. recommended ENB. always using the recommend textures.)
I also installed Falskaar and Wyrmtooth and installed "RS Children" instead of "new children" mod(no conflicts, only Falskaar with Skymills since i had intended to add small waterfalls but i re order it.)
First my rig:
i5-2500k
Asrock z77 Extreme 4
16gb memory
Ocz Vertex 3 SDD 120GB (where i have windows installed and Skyrim with the mods.)
2x SLI MSI GTX660ti OC (Drivers 340.52)
I started the game. smooth 60fps, with no antialiasing despite having 4x on Skyrim Launcher, off on Nvidia inspector. (wished i made a video of that)
Everything was perfect. Great Job guys on building this awesome guide! (no flickering and no blocky shadows, two of the special reasons why i wanted to install this S.T.E.P. among others)
Then i started to play further for about 1 hours.
Since i yet didn't know how to turned SMAA i tried ENB Vivian mod and placed the installed files including dx9smaa.dll.
Entered the game and ofc had a huge impact on fps. From smooth 60 to some frame drops, unsteady 40fps. but no flickers from what i noticed.
I wanted to try a few more mods that i realy like
I added:
- T3nd0s SkyRe (because of the more diverse talents) (with Reproccer and Balbor and Steelsouls Reproccer stats.xml)
- Open cities
- Unread Book Glow
- Hoth(companion).
That was it.
Sent Complete Crafting Overhaul in lower priority since T3nd0s SkyRe has conflits with it (i even should have removed it but didn't)
Then started the game and Boom, flicker mountains, walls, grass. same Flickers as Gopher said on a 2012 youtube video. but even worse since it affected walls near me and grass.
I left game and unistalled everything, restored the backup order list, the game was back to orginal. Still with vivian.
Entered the game again and damage was done. Flickering was there.
Run the game again and still flickers and wierd part it was that antialiasing was still up despites removing every possible Vivian files, dlls and everything.
Been trying the trouble shouting 3.A. Troubleshooting help
didn't do DDSopt Guide since if i had no problems before then it wouldn't matter.
Now i even seeArtifacts minute 4:49 sometimes when i load a zone. they dissapear if i load save sometimes. https://youtu.be/x2yeXqNSXsg
Any new tips? Reinstall something? (hated if i had to go trough the 7-9 hours install again.)
