MO wants to "fix" my load order after every 3rd to 4th time I open it.

I'm truly not sure where to post this so I'm going to start here.  If I chose wrong, please don't yell  I'm sorry and feel free to move it where it should be.   ::D:   Thank you.

#1 I keep getting the dreaded red triangle in MO's upper right pane.  This is the "error" it keeps giving me:  "There is a problem with your load order and you should be paying attention to this.  If someone told you to ignore this smack them and then fix the problem!" (paraphrasing the beginning of the message here).  The only option I have is to let MO "fix the problem" by doing the following:

Move Thieves Guild Requirements-14157-2-1 after Traps Make Noise-31799-2-1
Move When Vampires Attack-28235-2-0-3 after Thieves Guild Requirements-14157-2-1
Move Complete Crafting Overhaul-49791-1-5 after When Vampires Attack-28235-2-0-3
Move Non-Essential Children - Hearthfire-13202-10-0 after Complete Crafting Overhaul-49791-1-5
Move The Choice is Yours -main file-26359-1-3 after Non-Essential Children - Hearthfire-13202-10-0
Move The Paarthurnax Dilemma-18465-1-2-8 after The Choice is Yours - main file-26359-1-3

I haven't changed anything in the load order, I run LOOT every time I add an additional mod (I've only gotten 9 mods installed beyond the STEP mods and extended patch).  I get this message about every 3rd or 4th time I run LOOT, WB and DSR.  I've not changed any sort orders except where noted in the STEP line up within LOOT or with those specific mods.  Since they are all STEP mods it seems like it has to be a problem with either STEP, LOOT or MO, or any combination thereof.  I'm just not sure which one it is!

The other issue I've run into is with the STEP Extended Patch itself.  Again about every 3rd or 4th time I open WB to rebuild the patch, the STEP patch has an orange/red check mark indicating the following "masters are unsorted":
ADS.ESP
Thieves Guild Requirements.esp
Animated Weapon Enchants.esp
Skyrim Coin Replacer Redux.esp
Explosive Bolts Visualized.esp
Realistic Water Two.esp
AOS.esp
Enhanced Blood 2.esp
aMidianBorn_Content Addon.esp
Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade.esp

I'm not sure why it keeps doing that since I've used TES5Edit to "sort the masters" each time the check mark shows the orange/red color.  What could be causing that and is it anything I need to really be concerned with?

I do hope I've posted this in the right spot.  Honestly I wasn't sure if it was an MO issue, or a LOOT issue or a WB issue.  Somebody is hiccupping somewhere!

Thanks in advance for any help or insights anyone can give.  These two things are driving me nuts since I have to do it over and over and over again.  It doesn't make sense.

I'll check back for any ideas or insights anyone cares to post :)  I appreciate your taking the time to read this.

Ciao!

MO has an older version of LOOT built-in, so as S.T.E.P. has us using the latest LOOT externally, I think we're suppose to just ignore that error (as I've been doing).

LOOT produces dynamic load orders, so it is impossible for us to solve the PMOP for everyone. The fix button currently seems to place Complete Crafting Overhaul Remade after Static Mesh Improvement Mod and Gemling Jewelry, which is a no-no. It is extremely difficult to manually fix the issue.

However, the issue is a warning that something might be wrong. We have checked the scripts involved, and none are incorrectly overwriting each other in our order, so you should be able to safely ignore the warning for the STEP setup. I guess that means you can smack me.

The STEP Patch, because of dynamic load orders through LOOT, will often have masters out of order. However, this really shouldn't cause any issues whatsoever, which is why it is a warning in Wrye Bash and not an error.

Yep, and as someone told me once in here, if the step patch appearing with a red box is just to much of a bother for ya, like it was for me, call me whatcha want to but I want to see green lights across the board :) You can use TES5Edit to sort the masters of the step patch and it will look green in wrye bash again. When you load TES5Edit, leave everything checked in the plugin list that appears at the beginning and then press "ok". It might take a while for it to load all that up, but when it's finished, scroll down to the step patch and right click it and press "sort masters", it's done in an instant. Then just close it, and a menu will pop up asking you if you want to save a backup, I never do. Now, every time your load order changes cause either you added something or removed something, LOOT might sort your plugins differently enough to make the step patch masters be out of order again, so just re run through the same process again.

Thank you everyone!  I so appreciate your responses.  And Wiki Stepper, I won't be smackin' ya anytime soon! LOL I just hope MO doesn't think I'm ignoring it and reach out and smack me!  That line in the warning makes me laugh everytime :D

@CovertSlinky, that's what I've been doing.  I'm with you, I want green all the way, that red/orange check mark next to the S.T.E.P. patch makes my eye twitch LOL  Everytime it pops up I go resort them again.  It's a fight, but by golly I'll win... but there will be no smackin' if I can help it ;D

Thanks again everyone!

Ciao! :D

I notice I do not have that issue, MO is not trying to place CCOR after SMIM or Gemling Queen, and I have installed the newest version of LOOT separately then configured it through MO's exe tab. Is it possible this is a fix for MO trying to "fix" the CCOR, SMIM, Gemling Queen order?
