peppergomez Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 As the screenshot shows, I notice that MO keeps placing these two mods near the bottom of the priority list. Are they okay appearing here? Thanks.
0 Nozzer66 Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Check their filetree in MO by double clicking the mod and selecting filetree. If all that's in them is textures then chances are you're looking at your optimized textures. I'm almost certain they will be, though. Cause mine originally started the same way until I deliberately changed their names.
0 EssArrBee Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 You shouldn't have mods named the same as the official DLC files that MO adds. It's probably a bad idea. Those to with the category non-MO need to be at the top.
0 peppergomez Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 I am not sure what those two mods are...I have just been following the core STEP isntall, and nothing else. So I assume that they are the DLCs? How can I be sure? I have the new 1.2.5 MO and they didn't appear in my mod name list until I installed 1.2.5 so maybe they are appearing as the result of new functionality in 1.2.5 of MO?
0 EssArrBee Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Double click those mods and go to the file tree tab. That tells you what's in there. If it has a check box next to then MO has a mod folder of it in ...<Mod Organizer>mods.
0 Nozzer66 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Did you optimize textures perchance? That could explain the second Dragonborn and Dawnguard in there as clickable mods. 1
0 peppergomez Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 Yes, I did follow the DDS opt processes
0 EssArrBee Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 If those are your Dawnguard and Dragonborn optimized textures, add ' - OPT' to the end of their names. That may help. I don't think having stuff with same name is a good thing.
0 Nozzer66 Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 (edited) Mine are labelled Dragonborn Optimized Textures for example, just so I know exactly what they are. :) Edited June 27, 2014 by Nozzer66 1
0 peppergomez Posted June 27, 2014 Author Posted June 27, 2014 OK, good advice. What's the best way to determine if they are indeed the optimized textures?
