Question

Wondering if this is normal. I'm using STEP Core (as a base) and I keep getting Smart Souls.ini and SKSE_Elys)AltF4.log files being put in my overwrite folder. I can delete them, but they'll show up again after I've started and quit a new session of Skyrim. I also get a "meshes > cache" directory filled with files with names like "FCA605B7.tri." It doesn't seem to be affecting my game as I just empty the folder out every time anyways, but I'd like to know what's causing it and if I can stop it, or if it's something that's supposed to happen.

You can move Meshes/Cache to Race Menu mod folder and they will not reapper, until new ones will be created.

Each time MO will create new versions of the files (logs for example will be recreated each game session) they will end up in Overwrite folder.

I no longer see log files in overwrite, but I still get .dmp files from the same folder, so I guess MO ignores .log files now.

It should also ignore .tri files. Race Menu will garbage-collect and re-write them on initialization, so it doesn't matter what you do with them, or whether they persist across different profiles. They aren't anything that requires a user warning.
