I used partially the Vanilla Enhanced Gameplay Alternative and without S.T.E.P. Core.

So my main question is: what dou you think about the mods I am using? Should I remove some mods?

First thoughts, still having coffee:

I'd suggest using LOOT, (the new, much better BOSS basically) I suspect that you load order isn't LOOT ordered by how it's arranged.

I highly suggest you use Mod Organizer if you aren't already, it takes a lot of the issues of mod file conflicts, accidental file mix ups, etc. off the table because everything is reversible and virtualized thus no files are actually physically overwritten and your DATA folder for Skyrim remains pristine.

You really  need to follow the applicable Pack/Guides provided in STEP precisely if you are prone to problems, otherwise it makes it entirely problematic when it comes to helping you.

Examples of possible problem mods:

SkyRe/ASIS prone to being somewhat difficult to get "right"...instructions and patching have to be carefully applied.

RaceMenuPlugin.esp has a history of issues in some builds

SMPC.esp Is a mixed bag with some real issues/conflicts in recent releases

The variables involved in your mod build could cause any number of problems due not practicing what I have been mentioned above.

Need to establish a solid foundation before stacking up the mods.

Thanks for the quick reply. True I use BOSS as a main sorter and NMM as the mod manager. As for MO I am playing with it to understand how it works, because for an unexperienced person like me, it looks a bit confusing. I will remove the the RaceMenuPlugin and SMPC now, and thanks for pointing them as possible problems. As far as SkyRe and Asis, I am using the improved INI's found on the nexus with all the exclusions and without customized GMST and customized AI. LOOT looks to me a bit scary and haven't tried it being used with BOSS for a long long time but I will give it a try.

Thanks again :)

I was a little confused by MO initially, I recall getting quite angry at it because it didn't conform to my preset notion.

After a missing piece of information clicked into place, it made perfect sense to me:

In the left hand side of MO are all your folders, each one holding a specific mod you have installed via MO.

The order these mods appear does matter because priority is accounted for, generally speaking the order is best kept close to the same as your right hand load order, but after a while you can just get used to checking the conflicts tab for each mod to see what you need/want to do.

These files are not physically in your Skyrim Data folder, nor will they ever be. MO works virtually.

On the right side of MO, are the ESM and ESP of all the enabled mods you have installed, they all have corresponding folders on the left side (with the exception of official files).

All mod related utilities (Wrye Bash, LOOT, BOSS, TES5Edit, etc.) need to be ran from MO's shortcut menu so those utilities will use MO's filing system. This is important.

Hello again! As suggested i started using the MO as my primary mod manager, but i have encountered a small problem when installing the reproccer. I followed to the letter the video tutorials on how to install it. But when i run the jar i get an error that Skyre main is not installed even though it is present in the right window of the MO. Could you pease give me a hint :)

Sry i somehow disrupting this thread but maybe the OP may want to know it too at some point when using MO.

If i mark an esm/esp in the plugin tab sometimes i get a mark on the entry of the corresponding file in the archives tab.

I would like to know if i have to check those marked entries or if they can stay unchecked?(Is there any advantages doing so?)

Or do you have any advantages in just checking the archives tab(is it then even activated in the game?)?

Most of my questions is answered in this thread: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/5033-ramifications-of-bsa-extraction-in-mod-organizer/

The panel on the left could be considered your mod installation order, which is vital for getting Step running exactly as intended. The mods listed here should (for the most part) match the order of whichever guide you're following.

Also, the VEGA pack is specifically designed with Step Core 2.2.7 in mind, and is no longer supported. Running VEGA without any Step installation also kinda defeats the purpose of the guides on here, and may alone throw up problems and force you to do quite a bit or troubleshooting yourself. Not trying to sound negative by any means, but there's good reason for following a guide to the very letter until you're able to muddle through off your own back.
