Guest Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Thanks my friend. I will check back later to see what everyone thinks and whatnot.
DanielCoffey Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 The installer is simple, easy to use and properly illustrated too. I opted for 2K textures (which have 1k uncompressed normals) and the semi-transparent appearance.
DoubleYou Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 The fomod has an error in it that will not allow either MO installer to install the custom opacity option. You added an extra space.needs to be
Guest Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Just came back to have a look and I have to boot my computer up again now. Dang! Thanks for the heads up DoubleYou. Edit: Fixed. Edited June 1, 2014 by Guest
phryxolydian Posted June 1, 2014 Author Posted June 1, 2014 Sparrow, did you intentionally opted for yet another SoS acronym? Vanilla > Opacity > Transparency > Transparency 2K 1
TechAngel85 Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Transparency 1K get my vote. Not a big enough difference to use the 2K unless you are really close to the texture.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 This looks better with the new meshes (uv maps?) idk the difference...but the shape is better.

Nah I'll spare you unlike last time. Yeah the texture is vanilla-style, it was the goal when I started it from scratch. It's a compliment to me you are seeing the same colours and style. Mine look different for me though, as you can see on the mod page. Lighting and some such. - PDawg SoS was never a mistake. Confuse everyone by all means. All your unimginitive mod names are mine now! Edited June 1, 2014 by Guest
DoYouEvenModBro Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Wasnt the problem that the vanilla uv maps looking stretchy or something? Sorry. I'm trying to keep up but regardless this looks really good man.

I just felt like helping out because it was breaking that other mod which was nice bar the main texture.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Well thanks buddy. Have you been working on any other mods recently?
Guest Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 (edited) Well thanks buddy. Have you been working on any other mods recently? No, but I updated my rock mod because I deleted it instead of hiding it. I posted about it here in the thread (no replies) and noone is really downloading it, but I don't mind as I don't do it for the "credz". I think the guys here said it looked too volcanic before so I tried to fix it. Edited June 1, 2014 by Guest
EssArrBee Posted June 1, 2014 Posted June 1, 2014 Can we get some pics of the Stahlrim piles next to the crypts from Stahlrim Source on Solsthiem. It is an outdoor location in the NW part of the island. That is where the stretching in the meshes was. From the test files SP posted yesterday, I couldn't see any errors, they were just a touch bright on a cloud covered island.
