wanted Close Poll Feature Request

It would be nice if we could have polls and then close them without deleting the results or the topic.

Why did I think we already could do that?

Edit: Just checked and if there is, it isn't intuitive.

Do IPB devs even take that kind of topic into account? It doesn't seem so tbh... The thread's been around for what, 3 years?

They certainly won't without a poll in the OP (which is why I asked for that, but who knows if the OP-er is even alive at this point!).

Anyway, if they suddenly see an influx of posting and constant posting, it will bubble the thread up from the depths and draw more attention.
