Another way of inspiration could be Twitch. It's live, obviously, but there are usually several channels online in the evenings, and some of the people are fairly fun to watch. Heck I might try streaming myself (not that I think I'm funny), if I ever start playing seriously again (and get bored of Farming Simulator).

You might enjoy Darth Xile's LPs. I haven't watched much of his Skyrim ones (just a couple of episodes) but I've loved his Oblivion and Morroblivion ones.
