Hello, I am trying to make Skyrim run smoothly but the only problem i have now is my fps count goes down in combat when fight magic users or have a follower who is a magic user. My FPS is around 60 mostly.
My FPS goes down by half when i enter combat when some NPC use a Shock Damage spells such as Chain lightning, this happens mostly at the beginning of the battle when the spell hits someone and happens more often when it hits a group of people. when i use the spell it doesn't cause low fps but only when npc use it.
I am also wondering if other people have this problem or its just me.
I found that the more spells used in battle by group NPCs can cause an FPS spike or lag for my game. The most heavy on my FPS is still the shock spells, fireball explosions is another but not too heavy of a lag when hit.
I have uninstall all my mods and also reinstall the game to original setting and I still have this problem. The only thing I have installed is SKSE.
