ytsejam20 Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 i have install SMIM with Wyre Bash, but some of the folders are empty in the Skyrim/Data/Texture, (water, landscape), can you help me please?, thank you.
0 EssArrBee Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 Did you use the wizard installer? Because if you just install the mod it will empty without using the installer.
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 19, 2013 Author Posted November 19, 2013 Yes i do with, but Texture water is always empty and some others to
0 EssArrBee Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 I don't think SMIM has water textures, it mostly does meshes anyways. WATER is what STEP uses for water textures at the moment.
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 20, 2013 Author Posted November 20, 2013 Yes it's true, forgive me for this mistake. it's when i install Water, my folder are empty, why?
0 EssArrBee Posted November 20, 2013 Posted November 20, 2013 What WATER version are you using so I can go check and see if the wizard installer has a mistake?
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 i have WATER 1_86-13268-1-86.7z
0 EssArrBee Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Okay, I don't have that so I need to redownload it and check the installer, I will get back to you.
0 EssArrBee Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 There is no Wrye Bash wizard installer for this mod. You would have to choose the folders in the right pane that you need to install. Choose 00 Core then follow these instructions for the other folders: Install the following add-ons: * Improved Splash * Kerplunk - Watery Rocks * Animated Trough Water * Plants * Frozen Puddles * Row Boats * Only install "Dawnguard" and "Falskaar" if you have Dawnguard DLC and the Falskaar mod installed. Use the medium resolution waves. The wave version is the users choice. STEP recommends the "Medium Resolution Calm Alternative Two" option. Dragonborn users: Also install the "Dragonborn Waves" option.
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 22, 2013 Author Posted November 22, 2013 this is what I do but yet my file remains empty like, I really do not know why ... I name the archive "" F_WATER_BAIN-v1_86-13268-1-86.7z "" but without success.
0 EssArrBee Posted November 22, 2013 Posted November 22, 2013 Is it the only mod that does that? Have you tried different version of WATER, it is currently 1.871. I've never had that problem with WB, so the WB nexus page might be a good place for help.
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 No not they only, all with Meshes and Textures. I always set my Mods hand, but I want a facility worthy of STEP now I want to use Wrye Bash to, I started from the beginning, I tried several version, but the problem still persists, I know I talked about WATER, but it is always the same, I installed "" D_Argonian Decapitation Fix_BAIN-v22624-1-0.7z "" and my files are always empty, even happens that n 'not install all the files, I have to "install missing", but with empty folders. help me please.
0 EssArrBee Posted November 24, 2013 Posted November 24, 2013 Hmm... you know what, I remember a problem I had once with folders that had really long names. Wrye Bash has a character limit on the directory that a mod can install from. Try renaming the mod to ArgDecapFix.7z and see if that works.
0 ytsejam20 Posted November 24, 2013 Author Posted November 24, 2013 no, the folders is empty, it's true then i'am with Linux, but it's not Linux the problem, i think, wrye bash is the only one who work with, NNM or ModOrganyser dont work, i have set Wine on "Win 7"
0 ytsejam20 Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 if i try Wrye Bash for Oblivion, is it will work for Skyrim?
