Mod Organizer: Do I extract dlc bsa?

Hey guys,

 

I actually have a very simple question that I hope you guys can help me with.

 

From all of my research in the forums regarding bsa, the majority have stated we should extract for the most part.

 

Now my question is, does this also apply to the dawnguard.bsa, dragonborn.bsa, highrespack01-03.bsa also?

 

Or should i leave those bsa alone?

So just to clarify, I should leave the base BSA's alone, but extract all of the mod related bsa's,

I'll marked as solved.

 

I do disagree though with people that extract BSAs unless it's to save a plugin spot. The performance difference doesn't exist now that we have multi-core support, and this idea came from the single-core Oblivion days.

The problem with BSAs is it makes it impossible to mix and match various textures/meshes, etc.

 

It is also easier to make compatibility patches with the assets extracted.
