Okay, so I've followed (almost) every suggestion made by STEP, the most major being not unparking the second graphics card (which we'll be calling Nvidia about on Monday since we're having trouble doing it). All of a sudden after restarting our laptop we're getting frequent CTDs (most prominently when fast traveling, but especially anywhere near Markarth and Lakeview Manor); our FPS has gone from 45-50 to 20-35 with a LOT of stuttering when moving at all even when it remains at a fairly stable 35 (went from very high to medium to try and get better FRS attempting to fix this). Graphics Drivers are updated. No other performance issues before yesterday. We could play it in high with just a few FRHs here and there, and now medium is struggling.
Our specs are:
Alienware M17x
Intel Core2 Duo CPU T9800 @ 2.93GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280M x2
NVIDIA STRIPE 298.10G
8.00 GB RAM
Anyways, we don't have "that" many mods running, we have (in order according to BOSS):
Skyrim
Update
Dawnguard
Hearthfires
Dragonborn
ApachiiHair
SPIKE
SexiS
HighResTexPack 1
HighResTexPack 2
HighResTexPack 3
Unofficial Skyrim Patch
Unofficial Dawngaurd Patch
Unofficial Hearthfires Patch
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch
Unofficial High Res Tex Pack Patch
BabyDragons
Bouncy Bodices and Booties for UNP
hoth_trooper44 armor compilation
MashupUNP
jkjsenhancedhotpools
UNPB Barbarian Armor
StayPretty
FNISSpells
SexiS Cupid
SexiS Defeated
Renhair
EyesofBeauty
navetsea female face presets
EMCompViljaSkyrim
EMViljaInSolstheimAddOn
UFO
UFO Dawngaurd
UFO Hearthfire
DudestiaMultMarriages
BasvanbeauMuscleTextures with Navetsea Set
And three of my own mods which individually have not caused any problems. SonirTavern (just changes Sonir's clothing to Tavern outfit.) BetterMjoll (just some minor face changes.) and Maeva (basically a copy of Gormlaith, with a changed face.)
Even with UFO and its two addons at the bottom of the list (as is suggested by the modder), it doesn't change the problem. What gives?
