Training Dummies and Targets by B1gBadDaddy

https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/23698/

This mod lets you increase your archery, one handed, two handed and destruction skills by attacking those training dummies and archery targets.

For balance purposes, the skill increase is just 1/3 of the normal value (from attacking enemies).

Considering that practice, practice, practice is the best way to get good at something, and the fact that you actually see NPCs using those training dummies and archery targets, it just makes sense and I think this would be great in STEP.

It might be better if training would increase 1/3 for archery but only 1/6;1/10 for melee. 1/3 just still seems very high to me for whacking at a straw dummy like a maniac for a couple of hours.

Otherwise having a training session with a trainer of one-handed doesn't really have a good cost/value.

Response from the author:

"You just earn 3 xp each hit, which at higher levels barely touches your level."

I've been using that mod for a long time. I like it. I don't feel like it gives you too much XP. I don't grind. I only use them when I need a tiny amount of XP to level up.
