Discussion thread:

Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture Pack by Rafuel

Wiki Link

This is a retexture of all the Dragonborn robes, Miraak, Dragon Cultist, Telvanni, and Temple Priest. The author has added a few designs to the robes, but they match the story of Dragonborn DLC very well.

The Miraak robes have Herma Mora images on them and so do the Dragon Cultist robes. The Temple Priest have the three deadric lords from their temple on them. The images are not overbearing in any way really complement the look of the robes very nicely. All the robes are 2k and the boots, gloves, and/or masks are 1k, pretty much how BoS is setup.

This author also has done very good retextures of the archmage and psijic robes, but has not put them in any pack as of yet, probably will after he does some more Skyrim stuff.

The author was working on the regular robes and then just disappeared. To bad to because hey are really great. Been using these for a long time.

The Nexus page for the Mage Outfit Texture Overhaul mod credits Rafuel for the original retexture, and based on this I installed the Dragonborn Mages Robes Retexture a while ago. I like the retextures, and I don't see any other mods in STEP that replace the same textures.

The other mod was started by Rafuel, but he never finished it. I guess he passed in on to someone else that did it up right. Pretty much the same guy for both though.

Great find, EssArrBee. Works well with both EotW Mage Robes of Skyrim and MOTO. Closer to vanilla in style, rather like the MOTO robes, but with some nice lore-based embellishments.

Nothing else I'm aware of covers these, so unless Gamwich or Cabal decide to retexture the robes this is the obvious choice for STEP.

MOTO = Master of the Obvious? 'Cause I have no clue what mod that is.

Regardless, a few game-screens would be nice. I'm trying to hold off on new installations until 2.2.9.2 hits the streets.
