Hello!

I just finished up the SkyrimSE v2.3 STEP Guide and it was absolutely fantastic, extremely easy to follow. However, after I completed DynDOLOD, I received the following errors. I put the Textures do not match error message into pastebin because of how much there was!

Textures Do Not Match:

https://pastebin.com/nHDmQce9

This is for Files Not Found:

Warning: File not found textures\effects\glowsoft01_enbl.dds. Used by Meshes\clutter\blackreach\blackreachbush01.nif Skyrim.esm BlackreachBush01 [TREE:000CE101]
Warning: File not found textures\effects\glowsoft01_enbl.dds. Used by Meshes\clutter\blackreach\blackreachbush02.nif Skyrim.esm BlackreachBush02 [TREE:000CE102]

Currently trying to understand where I went wrong! Any assistance that can be provided to resolve these errors would be greatly appreciated.

realized after adding to this subforum, I used the incorrect one. Reposting in the correct forum for DynDOLOD support. My sincerest apologies.

It seems like you may have installed a tree or foliage mod that is not in our guide, or maybe you chose an option that we aren't using for an existing mod in the guide. I cannot find the texture in my instance, and I don't get this warning in my DynDOLOD logs.

Ultimately, the LOD for that mesh will revert to vanilla, so it's probably not something that will be seen in LOD anyway, especially in Blackreach.

blackreachbush01.nif and blackreachbus02.nif come from "...\mods\ENB Light\meshes\clutter".

glowsoft01_enb1.dds come from come from "...\mods\ENB Light\meshes\textures".

Ahh, then you must not have hidden the ENB Light files as instructed. Or maybe you hid the textures but not the meshes.

I took a look at the ENB Light conflicts like it said in the guide that you tagged, and based on the instructions there, I did follow them correctly. I must have messed up somewhere else...

This is what the conflicts tab looks like for ENB Light.

Based on the instructions located in the spoiler below, I did follow them correctly.

Spoiler

Hide the following files/folders:

  1. Once installed, double-click the mod in MO to bring up Mod's window.
  2. Select the Conflicts tab.
  3. At the top on the Winning file conflicts: pane, click on the Overwritten Mods column heading to sort assets by overwritten mod name.
  4. Select all lines in the filtered Winning file conflicts pane EXCEPT for the two smelter meshes overwriting Static Mesh Improvement Mod.
  5. Right-click on any selected file and click Hide.

Then examine your DynDOLOD error. In xEdit, find record

000CE101

Determine what plugin is overriding this record and the mod providing it. That's the issue ultimately.
