AstraDeLaSol Posted December 6, 2024 Posted December 6, 2024 I was trying to generate the grasscaches on a fresh install of the mod order and it will run for around 3 hours then stop with a recursion limit. Does anyone know what might be causing this?
z929669 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 'Recursion', to me, suggests path depth/length, but I've never seen this error. Maybe check your your grass meshes folder depth? What grass mod are you using?
AstraDeLaSol Posted December 8, 2024 Author Posted December 8, 2024 The folder is located at C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\ModOrganizer\Skyrim Special Edition\mods\SKSE Output, and the grass mod is the one in the guide, GrassCacheHelperNG and No Grass in Objects. I checked and the C drive still has 58 GB in it so size shouldn't be the issue.

If you are running the Step 2.3 build, disable any mods other than those instructed by the guide.
AstraDeLaSol Posted December 9, 2024 Author Posted December 9, 2024 this is a completely fresh install of skyrim on new profile in MO2 with no added mods. My plan at this point may just have to be to either uninstall everything past a certain checkpoint in the mods if you can think of one, then reinstalling them. If that fails start it over again as the process to go through each mod and individually check if they were installed correctly would likely take as long as just starting it over

You can try posting your MO error on the NGIO Nexus page.
