So I followed the latest STEP Guide and made sure to enable these: grass;gid and level31:1 in the DyndoLOD ini, and during the dyndolod process it lets me select HD Grass, but the grass lods are not being generated. Idk what to do. EDIT: Was I supposed to use a mod called No Grass in Objects?

The 2.3 guide will make all of this simpler. Use our Grass LOD Guide for now if you want.

Do not change GrassGID=cgid to gid in DynDOLOD_SSE.ini if you use the new approach.

Thanks. Managed to get the grass to generate. Only thing left is how to make it appear from even farther away lol. Also is guide 2.3 coming this summer?

Working on it, but even in it's truncated scope, there's a lot to resolve. Hopefully in the next few weeks, but no promises :)

That's great! Also one that thing, any idea on what setting I am missing that controls how FAR away the trees and grass can be seen when using lod/text/dyndolod? I know not to use ugrindstoload

Use the [TERRAINMANAGER] fblock settings in skyrimprefs.ini. It's best to let BethINI set them using the High or Ultra presets. Otherwise, you can use the DynDOLOD MCM to do the same.
