z929669 Posted January 16, 2023 Posted January 16, 2023 Well, it's probably worth adding this to the current DEV guide after some cursory testing.
Mercury71 Posted February 1, 2023 Posted February 1, 2023 Upsated on Nexus. True, the link was posted not by the author, but by another user. The above linked guide also clearly references (and was initially written for) an older version of the Uncapper, but still is also is the only reliable reference source for the mod for me so far ... 1

Mercury71 Posted April 3, 2023 Posted April 3, 2023 Mod updated on Nexus, v 2.2.0. - Added automatic configuration file updating which preserves file comments/formatting. - Fixed a crash when spending/getting perks. - Mitigated a crash on non-english systems related to unicode text parsing.
MightyCrow Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 What is the reason for instructing users to generate an empty mod to contain the INI file? If the INI file isn't being changed, what is the purpose of doing this?

The instructions are there in case you want to preserve your settings across mod updates.
MightyCrow Posted April 26, 2024 Posted April 26, 2024 What does this mod actually do in a STEP install? My understanding is it does nothing unless the ini file is tweaked, which Step doesn’t advise?
