Skyrim SE Update

Bethesda/Steam pushed the 1.6.629 update today, so the SSE guide will be broken until some key mods catch up (e.g., SKSE). This only impacts those that don't prevent the update. In the meantime, we will not be officially supporting the previous version of SSE any longer (1.6.353) ... looking forward only.

As usual, Step supports the latest game release, so as far as we're concerned, the guide will remain 'broken' until we can review the impact and determine what mods are impacted and updated. At the very least, we'll need to wait for updates to SKSE and CommonLib (and all of the mods dependent upon that).

This OP will be updated as we learn more.

All Creations

  • Language files updated.

Dwarven Armored Mudcrab

  • Teleport Pet spell works again.

Farming

  • Shrines at your homestead are now free to use when Survival Mode is enabled.

Goldbrand

  • Cultists will now stop spawning and attacking the Arcanaeum indefinitely.

Headman’s Cleaver

  • Namesake weapons can now be enchanted.
  • Fixed wrong names in the journal.

Nix-Hound

  • Teleport Pet spell works again.

Relics of the Crusader

  • Revised text in “Viparth’s Journal”.

Shadowrend

  • The player can no longer receive permanent debuff.

Survival Mode

  • An issue with arrow weights was resolved.

The Cause

  • The Dremora Gatanas now has the Daedric Gauntlets of Negation, justifying his ability to wield Scourge.
  • Typo fixes.

Fishing

  • Fixed bug where if the player owns multiple Hearthfire homes with aquariums fish would only be displayed on the fish racks in one.

I'll never understand why Bethesda won't coordinate with Nexus or the modding community at large ahead of these releases. Just a 30 day forewarning with some info sharing.

      Hi,
      I'm using DynDOLOD Alpha99...
      In the past I was able to get my distance grass colors more balanced, looking similar, now the farthest distance out is a greener color, then the rest of the grass.
      Here's a screen shot of the grass I am referring to with red boxes around it, that appears greener than the rest...

      I'm using Complex Grass... 
      To balance the colors, is this just playing around the TexGen Direct/Ambient?
      In DynDOLOD I've tried default settings and these settings for the complex grass.
      ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 ; make bottom darker to fake shadowing ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 ComplexGrassBrightnessTopR=0.500 THANKS
