Use the legal version of the game.

Always use the latest DynDOLOD Alpha version.

Do not install DynDOLOD into any Steam or game folders as explained in https://dyndolod.info/Installation-Instructions

You can move the game with steam, but I have never tried it with a modded game...so I am unsure if it would move non verified files.

You can also set the game path in the registry by launching the game via Steam and quitting without clicking 'Play' or whatever it is in the launcher menu.

Thank you I will take your advice. Deleting the reg key and re-running the launcher has solved the issue.
