Error when running dyndolod wrong billboard path

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello,

I am revisiting Skyrim SE once again, and am installing Dyndolod (using Skyrim 3d trees) and after having run texgen I am seeing an error in dyndolod saying that I have the wrong billboard path. How do i fix this?

Also, I see a message saying its not detecting my texgen output.

I am not running dyndolod program or texgen from vortex, should i be running it from Vortex instead of from a directory on my F drive?

Thanks,

I didnt see the billboard file for Skyrim 3d trees lol. Added that and the warning seems to have gone away.

DynDOLOD 3 creates tree and grass billboards for your game by way of TexGen. You don't need to install billboards (and you shouldn't install them if using DynDOLOD 3). If DynDOLOD is not detecting your TexGen output, then you aren't running TexGen first or are not transferring that output into your mod list. You can use our guide to understand how to do it. The DynDOLOD documentation explains everything in great detail.

You did not say which DynDOLOD version you are using.

Do not paraphrase message. Upload the log instead.

See https://dyndolod.info/Messages/Wrong-Billboard-Path. If you are using DynDOLOD 3 Alpha and thus participate in the alpha test, also read the first post of https://stepmodifications.org/forum/topic/16796-dyndolod-3-alpha-88/ and https://dyndolod.info/Generation-Instructions
