Rebuilding STEP 5, proper method?

Hi.

Is the proper way to rebuild xLODGen, TexGen, DynDOLOD and Occlusion to deactivate them from the bottom, redo STEP 5 and let the generated outputs just overwrite the former outputs?

Or would it be better to actually delete the former generated outputs?

I always delete before rebuilding these so I know the newly generated files are clean and uncluttered.
