Wrye Bash 307 Beta 2 Release Notes

Highlights

Code has been refactored and cleaned up. Many bugs have died sudden and brutish deaths.
Refactored Bashed Patcher for Skyrim Special Edition. See below for special notes on this update.
SSE and FO4 save game support
Creation Club ESL and save game support.
Increased max-plugin count if using ESL files
Support for installing BodySlide and BodySlide data files**
Better support for FNIS**
Better support for installing DynDOLOD content
Support for Fallout 4 MCM and MCM plugins
Better SKSE64 plugin support
SKSE64 cosave support
Dramatically improved ( go faster! ) filesystem operations
Better file handling with dirty mods (for examle mods that have desktop.ini, thumbs.db files accidentally packed in the zip)
(Bugfix) Improved BCF (BAIN Converter File) support for Skyrin, Skyrim Special Edition, and Fallout 4
(Bugfix) Bash will no longer include mods with BSA files in plugin merges
(Bugfix) Better crash handling and exeption generation
(Bugfix) Fixed several bugs with INI Tweak handling
(Bugfix) Better settings handling. This is still a work-in-progress as we rework this portion of the code.
** Note: Bash skips executable files as a security measure. As a work-around, see the wiki article on how to set up Bodyslide executables with Bash.

Special note on the Bashed Patcher for Skyrim Special Edition: This version is form version 44 enforcing, meaning you will receive an error if you have any classic Skyrim plugins in your load order that have not been converted correctly in the SE Creation Kit (SECK). It will continue to build the patch, but you may encounter unusual behavior in the game. Do not ask the Bash team for assistance for issues arising from the use of v43 plugins with the SSE Bashed Patch.

Currently in development:

Further code refactoring and clean-up
More Bash Tags supported in Skyrim Special Edition
More Bash tweaks for Skyrim games and Fallout 4.
New Bash Tags for new SSE and Fallout 4 record types
More patchers for the Bashed Patcher for Skyrim Special Edition
Better Fallout 4 support
FOMOD support

Just starting this thread for general questions... which I'm bound to have a few ;)Starting with (and I've already done some hunting for this to no avail):What is the whole 'Warning - Load List Sanitized' thing about? Why does it disable select mods and what can I do about it?

Yes, as I understand it RL with the iCCC injector is directly comparable to the RCRN package. And I believe that you're also right about daisy-chaining post processors by using the proxy setting, but I haven't been tempted to try it.

I'm really pretty happy with the way my Skyrim is looking now. Just need the Real Lights mod to arrive, and someone to figure out how to animate LOD waterfalls, and I'll be made up. : )

I would like to know the proper way to place a Wrye Bash patch along with the "General" patch recommended by Skyrim Revisited.

Where would I place the General patch in the Load Order?  What modifications do I need to make, if any do either patch so they will work together?

Thank you to any who respond.

Actually, no. The instructions for the General Patch's load order are not in the guide. The guide explains how to set its location with BOSS Userlist Manager, which is not an answer to my question. The guide does not state where the General Patch should go. That is my question.

Clearly if I need an answer to this question I am using other mods, because I have a Bashed Patch and I need to determine where the General Patch goes in relation to its position.

So. If anyone else might know, my question was where would I place the General Patch in my load order? More specifically than "before the Bashed Patch"?

Actually Luinithil is correct, it does state where it goes in the load order as it states you should use BUM to have BOSS sort it into the "Extra Late" section, which means it will be the last file loaded before the bashed patch. :)

I am most likely very wrong here, but considering the question are you not using BOSS? Just asking because BOSS will sort it properly no matter what mods you add as long as you've done the BUM part in the guide

With a pure SR install, there are only 4 ESPs the bashed patch will merge automatically for you-- Traps Make Noise.esp, moveitLWT.esp, ABT (Progressive Damage with Nord Hero Arrow).esp. There really isn't a need for a list of bashable ESPs, since WB will handle it automatically on its own and the list will differ from user to user. I have 3 other ESPs that the bashed patch will merge for me since they're for armor replacer textures and only contain maybe 1 record or so.
