Deleting readmes and .bsl files

Recommended Posts

Been following the SRLE Extended LOTD guide and I have a quick question regarding some instructions when installing some mods:

Is there any performance advantage to deleting unused files such as readme text files and .bsl or even .esp files which will be overwritten later?

Wondering if there is really any benefit other than just tidying up?

Keeps things clean and neat. Let's be honest, how often to the Readme's ever get read?
