TechAngel85 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Congratulations on the release! Hopefully I don't get bombarded with comments on BethINI, because I think most everybody has heard of it by now.Probably so because I've been telling people to use it for months now!
Guest Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Congratulations! I held off on rebuilding STEP because I knew it was coming out soon, didn't think it would be today though! Thanks to everyone involved, a lot of changes in this one! Congratulations on the release! Hopefully I don't get bombarded with comments on BethINI, because I think most everybody has heard of it by now.I've heard of it, but never used it. Looks to be extremely helpful though, should make things a lot easier going forward!
Kesta Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Congrats! Out of curiosity since I've been kinda out of the loop for a while now: Who's still actively maintaining aside from you Tech ?
EssArrBee Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Congrats! Out of curiosity since I've been kinda out of the loop for a while now: Who's still actively maintaining aside from you Tech ?Me, sporadically. Some of the Mods are still helping too, like phazer, Kelmych and Greg.
TechAngel85 Posted June 12, 2017 Author Posted June 12, 2017 Yeah, it's mainly SRB (sporadically), a few Mods, and myself. @All,I'll be updating the Optimized Textures later this week. I just went from the Performance version and am proud to announce it was reduce by ~374MBs; it's now under 1 gig! I'll pack it up and upload it later.
Tobi Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Wow this came a lot faster than I was expecting. Thanks everyone!
Yougurt Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Thank you ! Its time to get back to Skyrim again! Thanks for the S.T.E.P guide!
Feoras Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 Congratulations on the release ! I just have one question, since I've not been following STEP related news for a while : is the guide compatible with Skyrim Special Edition ?
Greg Posted June 12, 2017 Posted June 12, 2017 A lot of the mods in the guide (notably SKSE and mods that require SKSE) are not yet available for Skyrim Special Edition, so it is not compatible with Skyrim Special Edition.
Hestia Posted June 13, 2017 Posted June 13, 2017 Is it safe to start a new game right now? I fear the step v2.10 will change again after a day/week/month. And I'd be stuck again in a restart>new game loop, which I hate doing when updating. Edit: Just saw this: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/12253-step-v2101-development/I'm in shambles rn. I'd probably wait out until August because I'm simultaneously waiting for the next STEP release and Andromeda.:(

These types of releases will mainly include small changes to mod pages from mods being updated and bugs being fixed.
Genaeve Posted June 15, 2017 Posted June 15, 2017 Thank you, so very much.I love all the changes. I'm so glad you didn't dump Regular Skyrim STEP for the SESkyrim exclusively, (yes, I was worried). As a side note, This was released on my birthday
