LordDakol Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 Hello everyone! Longtime lurker, new user and poster! I couldn't a more appropriate place to put this, so I ask a question: is a Fallout 4 modding pack being made right now, and if not, would it be possible to make it myself? I've been waiting for a long while, ever since modding became a thing in FO4, for a comprehensive, detailed modding guide, but there are either outdated and rely heavily and unlorefriendliness. I've been attempting to look into making my own on this site, but I am still uncertain how to go about doing that. Does anyone have any advice or information for me?
Nozzer66 Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) It's not officially a STEP pack but: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/11782-wip-fallout-4-using-modorganizer-2/ is one you can look at. Edited February 28, 2017 by Nozzer66
LordDakol Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 You know what, I actually misworded my question and am going to add onto it. Is there a difference between creating a Pack and a Guide on the wiki? And if so, how do I create a guide?
dreadflopp Posted February 28, 2017 Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) Packs are for Skyrim only. To create a guide, create a wiki page for it. Just navigate to a new page and start editing.* Make sure you are logged in to the wiki* Go to, for example, https://wiki.step-project.com/User:LordDakol/MyFO_Guide* Click PageTools/Create You have now created a new wiki page that you can edit from the page tools menu. Check other guides to see examples of layouts, source code etc. You can check the source code (Page Tools/Edit (don't edit anything!)) for:https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kesta/FO4PersonnalGuide Here are some templates that will help you:https://wiki.step-project.com/Template:FOMOD_Instructionshttps://wiki.step-project.com/Category:Notification_Templates When you are ready to share your guide, create a page for it in the forum.
