Question

I have big problem with my windows (virus) and I decide to format my drive and have a clean install of Windows. Problem is I’ve finally managed to install SRLE and I really don’t want to go through that again (it was my 4th attempt).

Can I just reinstall my Skyrim, insert needed files, then reinstall MO and place my profile folder with all mods, setting etc into MO older? Will it work?

Assuming you have all the mods from the 'mods' folder backed up then there is no problem. Otherwise you'll need to download them again and install them afresh.

  1. Install MO
  2. Restore the profile from your backed up 'Profiles' folder
  3. Restore the mods from your backed up 'mods' folder
  4. Activate the mods in the left-hand pane and ensure they are in the correct order
  5. Run LOOT
  6. Enjoy the game
