STEP Compilation says I'm not eligible, but have all mods installed

Blackstar110

Question

Hey guys,

I'm new to modding but very close to feeling the STEP guide. Unfortunately, I'm running into an issue where, at the end, I've downloaded the STEP Compilation, but when I run the installer, it says I'm not eligible for either the Core OR Extended, which makes no sense to me. I've gone down the list a few times and all the mods on the list are installed and ticked in the left-hand side of ModOrganizer.  :/

Now, obviously, I can ignore the recommendation and install the Extended compilation anyway. It appears in the list on the left as if everything is normal, but is that safe to do? Will it work?

I'm so close to finally being done and ready to play! Any insight on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You have to have something missing. That is the only way you wouldn't be eligible for the Extended Patch. The patches and compilation are two different things. The patches will install a plugin and the compilation will only install meshes/textures. Verify your list against the OP here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/9370-step-compilation/
