  1. Just looking over the guide it seems that Witcher 3 is a little easier to mod than the previous two games.
  2. I know about the PNEO update, I've been following the threads for it lately. I just updated the install instructions to do away with cleaning the Rebalance plugin and got rid of the two separate fixes. One of the big problems I have with NVR3 is the amount of errors in the plugin. Dracomies needs to do something about that. It's got thousands of errors to clean. I could probably live a lot of the stuff and patch it myself, but damn, clean the plugin before release.
  3. Moss Rocks, Suped-Up Stalhrim, That's Ice, Grassias Fixas, and EDT. Terrain Bump was actually dropped because it doesn't work with the landscape textures we added. EDT/EDT2 are now the optional file that's on the Ruffled Feather mod page. EDIT: All were STEP Core.

  5. You probably should. Go to the launcher and lower all the distance sliders to about half way and maybe drop the shadow quality down a step. With ENB do you have the graphics part on or do you have only the ENBoost part on?
  6. Do you have DynDOLOD TexGen.pas in your xEdit folder?
  7. Click the filter button on the bottom left and then click a blank area. Anytime that green border is there you have a filter selected.
  8. UAC isn't always the issue. Sometimes the files themselves have weird issues.
  9. The console is good, but I don't like that solution since most people would have to open a browser and find the code while in game. There were other minor bugs that the new mod took care of as well.
  10. Depends on the system. Any decent system will get 50+ for the most part. Some areas are just much more intensive than the others, so you'll see dips in those places. The aspen trees in the Rift can do a number on performance for example. Interiors should always be around 60FPS.
  11. It might be a permission error. Like some file has messed up access privileges.
  12. Yeah, you'll want those there since some objects may use the mini atlases. I don't know if everyone single lod object calls on the huge atlas that is created from the mini atlases. Could be a bit more specific and maybe post a screenshot of error. Is texgen or dyndolod the problem?
  13. No, the bug is from the original mod by Moburma. Someone else made an updated version that I linked which is supposed to fix that issue. It can be tested with F&L or vanilla just to see if that bug is gone.
  14. Anyone wanna test the new NV Uncut 6? The bug that kept the old one out of the guide was that even if you dismissed Betsy, she still prevented you from entering the DLC areas.   15. I know it's a mess. I've been thinking about it for a while too. I've always said that the reports of problems were always worth it in the end because the mod is so good, but maybe it isn't. I'll try to figure something out when I go deeper into the guide. I've actually said I was going to do that like 10 times by now, but I always get distracted by other stuff right when I'm going to start. One day it'll happen.
  16. texgen is make custom LOD textures. If you look at all the textures that end with lod.dds or lod_n.dds they are made from the vanilla textures. That creates a mismatch between your replacers and the LODs. TexGen allows you to make the LOD textures from your replacers in about 10 minutes.
  17. I was working on IMPACT right before I took a break. I'll get back to it after some general maintenance type stuff getting everything up to date from the time I left.
  18. The NPC version looks good in FNVEdit. The only thing is adding some bash tags. I was hoping that one day Wrye Flash would read the LOOT masterlist for tags, but it doesn't look like that is going to happen anytime soon. I'm going to have to start adding a suggested bash tag section to mods that require you to add them manually. I'll probably add it at the bashed patch section so you can do all of them at once, but compiling that list is going to be a headache. It's also going to be annoying for the end user, but will make compatibility much better. I'd bet there are over 30 tags missing since we switched from BOSS to LOOT.
  19. What file are people using for Uncut Wasteland? I'm thinking Uncut Wasteland plus NPCs for the guide.
  20. If you install SFO 2.0+ then it doesn't matter since that mod overwrites this file.
  21. Sorry, no. You'll have to reinstall DynDOLOD and regenerate it. You only need to reinstall to MO, not to the TES5Edit folder. For that just go into the TES5Edit folder and find the DynDOLOD\cache folder and delete the contents. Then redo the instructions. I added a bunch of new stuff for the TexGen so the LOD textures are extra awesome. It only takes an extra 10 minutes.
  22. The guide is just being stubborn. Sometimes it takes a bit of time for it to refresh. I'd do it manually, but our Admin told us to stop doing that.
  23. I updated the DDL page with the instructions for TexGen and put up some additional info for requirements so no one skips the "-o:" argument and the other stuff. Instructions for DDL are now pretty long. Tech had this problem yesterday. I'm not sure if he found a solution, but I'll ask him and get back to you. I'm not able to replicate it myself.
