  1. I'm not sure what you mean Tech. I mean this thread should have some input from the community. I want to know what works best for people. Also, I've forgotten enough about the quests that I may need some suggestions for Timing is Everything.
  2. As long as the Molag Bal quest is set to level 1000, I don't care. I hate that Vigilant of Stendarr in Markarth so much.
  3. I'm 99% sure that the CRF patch is already included in the STEP patches because we wouldn't be able to use it in it's current way because it's not usable without USKP. I'll make a version for USLEEP and upload it to the nexus for the rest of the community though if no one else has done it already. EDIT: Here's the patch without USKP as a master: https://copy.com/oG2czUUdISliyJ7v I don't know if CRF has added more buildings lately, so it'll take some time to update it if it does.

  6. There will be a few extra references that are still in the patch but they should be benign since nothing actually references them.

  8. For immersive citizens you need to do some extra stuff. First install the CRF and ELE patches. There are records from those plugins in the STEP patch. You'll have to do it manually since I merged those plugins into the STEP Patch. The formID for some of the records are different so using editor IDs might be best. I'll probably be building a non-ICAIO patch for users that don't want to use it sometime this weekend as well.

So XCE - Dawnguard is XCE-Dawnguard. Trade & Barter is Trade and Barter. Ampersands bork the url.

  15. I think it's getting to the point we should add an MCM section to the guide after the LOOT Meta Rules, so people can see some of the stuff going on in the mods they might not even know about.
  16. Someone made a mod that adds extra LOD objects. https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/61206/? That is something that is sorely needed in game.
  17. I wonder if quests could just be merged. Never tried it since some are ESMs and I don't messing with those. Would it be better to use the bash tag merge script for the merges than having people manually do it in Wrye Flash? I think that might save a step.

  19. Make a copy of a dummy plugin, like one of the HRDLC plugins, then just rename it to match the BSA's name.
  20. I use this as well. Daniel's book mods are pretty awesome. Always thought since this added a ton of items to the game it was outside of STEP's realm, but you can't argue that this mod isn't lore friendly. Actually, it probably makes Skyrim more lore friendly.
  21. It's all the same program. You just rename the EXE. v3.1.3 is the version number for all the current programs that xEdit can be. Just make a copy of v3.1.3 and rename it what you want... FO3Edit, FO3LODGen, TES5Edit, TES5LODGen....
  22. Just make a plugin and name it the same as the BSA and place it after the UHRP plugin.
  23. RS and BYOD aren't requirements of the patches anymore. Update to the latest version.
