  1. I am curious about which meshes from Oldrim mods need running through NIF Optimizer and which don't. I previously thought that it is a must to run meshes from all Oldrim mods through NIF Optimizer but I have just installed Realistic HD Baskets, Realistic HD Food etc which have been downloaded from the oldrim nexus and contain meshes. The guide doesn't say to optimize these meshes so I was wandering if it was an oversight or if there is a reason for this.
  2. Thanks for your help Alkira and Darth_mathias, it turns out running LOOT outside MO2 also meant sorting my load order, once I did that the mod groups populated as expected
  3. Hi! I am baffled by the Prerequisites section, specifically setting up mod groups in LOOT:the instructions say to link up some nodes or other mod groups but since I don't have any mods installed yet, the only group showing up is "default" so it doesn't look like the beginning of the video linked in the guide. Should I revisit this section when I install all the mods or am I misunderstanding something?
  4. I posted yesterday and got no response so I will try again: I am having this problem with weird orbs of light appearing on the Whiterun battlements, they don't surround light sources. They can be seen in my screenshot: https://imgur.com/BLa81oX I am using NLVA and therefore not using Vivid weathers' esp and its addons/patches, my ENB is Rudy ENB, otherwise my setup is exactly what is said in the guide. I have tried running DynDOLOD without fake lights in child worlds and fxglow contrary to what the guide says, but this hasn't solved my issue. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?
  5. Hi berndaroy! How did you merge REGS with this guide so that they work without issues? Also, do you have an idea what issues came with Enhanced Landscapes, as I feel it would be a great mod to fill in the empty landscape in some places. Would it conflict with many many mods from this guide (like memnochs suggested it might) and if you don't know, how can I check it? (I understand modding practices, but not too savvy with TES5Eedit :/ )
  6. Also I have a question about whether the following mods would be compatible with this guide: -Dawn of Skyrim series of mods -Enhanced Landscapes

  8. Hi I have two questions: - would it cause problems if I left Frostfall disabled in its MCM? - how would I go about removing a mod like Heavy Armory from this modlist?
  9. Hi! I am at the ending stages of this great guide and have a question: do I need to go through the Conflict Resolution Subguide or is downloading the Conflict Resolution esp from your page enough?
  10. Thank you so much! For some reason now when I installed it outside SkyrimSE directory and chose a portable instance, it allowed me to manage SSE and it works!
  11. I have now tried running SE before opening MO and the problem still persists. Whichever instance I choose, always Classic Skyrim is managed. 12. I have been trying to install this version of MO to use with SSE for some time and whatever I do, it always manages Classic Skyrim not SSE. I have tried installing it inside the SSE directory and messed with instances (portable and not) and always upon opening MO it's as though it wanted to manage Classic Skyrim. Note that I am using MO1 for Classic Skyrim and that may be what's messing things up. So, what should I do?
